Thanksgiving Weekend

One thing I love about my work is that we get to have an extra day off for Thanksgiving. Since our department does not fall under the regular offshore call center operating 24/7, we get to enjoy holidays off for very significant US events such as Thanksgiving.

Although I'm right now in between reading my assigned cases and article readings for my class later this afternoon, I took the time out to check out some new digiscrapping stuff from my e-mail. Last Friday, I shopped at SBB, got some great deals and renewed my subscription. I still have to download the stuff that I bought so I am going to do that in a little while.

I received an e-mail update from Kristy Valshan about their grand opening sale. Kristy Valshan is the brainchild of Jen Reed and Jeanine Baechtold, 2 of my favorite designers. True enough, I have bought their combo kits and even got a freebie card pack for my purchase of their Yuletide Combo Kit. I also bought William and Autumn Beauty.

I know that I rarely scrap nowadays (with the exception for N4D of which I'm a CT member) due to lack of time but I have quite a number of projects to do for Christmas. The above kits would surely be part of the gift ideas that I have.

I guess that's gonna be it for now. I have a couple of layouts to finish later after class. I know that law classes (during Saturdays and Sundays) and digiscrapping is a humongous task but I don't really mind. The digiscrapping and the retail therapy part keeps my sanity intact.
